# Associated SCM accounts

SonarQube Cloud performs the association with a Source Control Management (SCM) account automatically, based on the user’s email address. You cannot explicitly add an SCM account association. See [#automatic-issue-assignment](https://docs.sonarsource.com/sonarqube-cloud/discovering-sonarcloud/analysis-process-overview/analysis-process#automatic-issue-assignment "mention") for more information about automatic issue assignment.

The associated SCM accounts are displayed under **My account** > **Profile** page that you can access from the Account menu in the top right corner.
