# Turning off automatic analysis

This feature is only available in the [Enterprise plan](https://www.sonarsource.com/plans-and-pricing/#sonarqube-cloud-features).

As an organization admin, you can turn off the [Automatic analysis](/sonarqube-cloud/analyzing-source-code/automatic-analysis.md) for all new projects in your organization. This setting defines a default that can be overridden at the project level: a project administrator can re-enable automatic analysis for their project even after it has been turned off at the organization level.

To turn off the automatic analysis for your Enterprise plan organization:

1. Retrieve your organization. See [Retrieving your organizations](/sonarqube-cloud/getting-started/viewing-organizations.md) for more details.
2. Go to **Adminstration** > **Organization Settings** > **Analysis**.
3. Under **Analysis Method**, turn off **Automatic analysis for new projects**.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.sonarsource.com/sonarqube-cloud/administering-sonarcloud/managing-organization/setting-config-at-org-level/disabling-automatic-analysis.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
