Introduction to user management
The User management section is directed at the System Administrator. It contains the following pages:
- Retrieving and viewing user accounts
- Managing groups
- Managing permissions at the system level
- Managing user authentication
- Administering authentication tokens
- Associating a user with an SCM account
- Creating users manually
- Deactivating users
- Changing a user password
When installing SonarQube Server, a default user with Administer System permission is created automatically:

admin
