Overview of how to set up and upgrade SonarQube 10.3.

If you previously used ZIP installation, we recommend installing SonarQube Server from a Docker image or Helm chart (Kubernetes/OpenShift). These methods make it easier to update to newer versions and to operate your instance. Install from the ZIP file only if neither of those options is feasible for your environment.

Install a production instance

To install a production instance, read the Prerequisites and overview, and then follow the Introduction.

After the installation

After your server is up and running, you’ll need to install one or more Overview on the machines where the analysis will be performed.
