Changing your project's quality profiles

Changing the project's default quality profile.

The instance’s default quality profile for each language is applied by default to your project. As a project administrator, you can apply other standards to your project. See Understanding quality profiles for more information.

To change the quality profile of a given language for your project:

1. Retrieve your project. See Retrieving projects for more details.

2. Select Project Settings > Quality Profiles.

3. Select Add language if the language is not listed on the page. Otherwise, go to step 6 below.

1. Select the language and the quality profile you want to use for this language.

2. Select Save.

3. To reset to the default profile or change the specific profile:

   1. In the Actions column of the language, select the pen icon. The Change Quality Profile dialog opens.

   2. Select the first option to reset to the instance's default profile, or select another specific profile.

   3. Select Save.
