Use the Hunter Agent, the Remediation Agent, and AI CodeFix to find and fix issues in SonarQube Server 2026.5.
SonarQube Server includes AI features that help you work through your issues: the SonarQube Hunter Agent, which finds vulnerabilities that require human-like understanding of the code; the SonarQube Remediation Agent, which proposes fixes as pull requests; and AI CodeFix, which generates a fix for a single issue on demand. All three are part of Sonar's Agent Centric Development Cycle.
Hunter Agent
The SonarQube Hunter Agent runs a deep AI-powered analysis of your projects to find vulnerabilities that require human-like understanding of the code, such as broken access control and business-logic flaws, then raises them as issues you triage like any other.
The Hunter Agent is available in the Enterprise and Data Center editions and requires a separate subscription. An Instance Admin sets it up before you can use it. See Hunter Agent.

Remediation Agent
The SonarQube Remediation Agent works on the backlog of issues in your main branch, either automatically on a schedule or for the issues you assign to it, and can also fix issues in a pull request when its quality gate fails. It generates the changes in the background and opens a pull request in your repository for you to review and approve.
The Remediation Agent is available in the Enterprise and Data Center editions and requires a separate subscription. An Instance Admin sets it up before you can use it. See Remediation Agent.

AI CodeFix
