Configuring SAML SSO for your enterprise in SonarQube Cloud

The second step of the SAML SSO setup is the configuration in SonarQube Cloud. For an overview of the complete setup, see Transitioning your enterprise to SAML SSO.
You must be the administrator of the enterprise in SonarQube Cloud.
Proceed as follows:
- In your IdP application, retrieve the SSO information of the SonarQube Cloud application.
- For Okta, see Retrieving the SAML SSO information of the application in Registering SonarQube Cloud in Okta.
- For Microsoft Entra ID, see Retrieving the SAML SSO information of the application in Registering SonarQube Cloud in Microsoft Entra ID.
- In SonarQube Cloud, retrieve your enterprise.
- Select Administration > SAML Single Sign On (SSO). The SAML SSO page opens.
- In the second step of the SAML configuration section, paste the information you retrieved before.
- Select Save configuration. SonarQube Cloud is trying to connect to the IdP. If the connection is established, the page collapses to the essential SAML settings.
Updating your enterprise's SAML SSO configuration
To update the SAML SSO configuration in SonarQube Cloud (You must be the administrator of the enterprise in SonarQube Cloud.):
- In SonarQube Cloud, retrieve your enterprise.
- Select Administration > SAML Single Sign On (SSO). The SAML SSO page opens.
- In the SAML configuration section, select Edit.
- Update the fields and select Save configuration.
