Configuring SAML SSO for your enterprise in SonarQube Cloud

The second step of the SAML SSO setup is the configuration in SonarCloud. For an overview of the complete setup, see Transitioning your enterprise to SAML SSO.
You must be the administrator of the enterprise in SonarCloud.
Proceed as follows:
- In your IdP application, retrieve the SSO information of the SonarCloud application.
- For Okta, see Retrieving the SAML SSO information of the application in Registering SonarCloud in Okta.
- For Microsoft Entra ID, see Retrieving the SAML SSO information of the application in Registering SonarCloud in Microsoft Entra ID.
- In SonarCloud, retrieve your enterprise.
- Select Administration > SAML Single Sign On (SSO). The SAML SSO page opens.
- In the second step of the SAML configuration section, paste the information you retrieved before.
- Select Save configuration. SonarCloud is trying to connect to the IdP. If the connection is established, the page collapses to the essential SAML settings.
Updating your enterprise's SAML SSO configuration
To update the SAML SSO configuration in SonarCloud (You must be the administrator of the enterprise in SonarCloud.):
- In SonarCloud, retrieve your enterprise.
- Select Administration > SAML Single Sign On (SSO). The SAML SSO page opens.
- In the SAML configuration section, select Edit.
- Update the fields and select Save configuration.
