Changing your subscription plan

This page explains how to upgrade to or downgrade from a subscription plan, and how to change the Lines of Code threshold of your organization.

Upgrading a free plan to the Team plan

Monthly subscription
  1. Retrieve the organization.
  2. Select the Billing & Upgrade tab.
  3. In Upgrade to scan private projects, select the Upgrade button.
  4. In Plan details, select the Lines of Code (LOC threshold) you want to purchase for the organization: see LOC-based pricing in Subscription plans.
  5. Select Continue to billing information.
  6. Enter your billing information.
  7. Select Continue to payment information.
  8. Enter your credit card information.
  9. Select Upgrade.
Yearly or custom subscription
  1. Select the Lines of Code (LOC threshold) you want to purchase for the organization: see LOC-based pricing in Subscription plans
  2. Contact our team to purchase a yearly or custom coupon for the selected LOC.
  3. Once you have your coupon, retrieve the organization.
  4. Select the Billing & Upgrade tab.
  5. In Upgrade to scan private projects, select the Upgrade button.
  6. In Plan details, select the LOC threshold.
  7. Select the I already purchased a coupon link.
  8. Enter the coupon and select Apply the coupon.

Upgrading to the Enterprise plan

Upgrading a paid plan

The paid plan is now deprecated. This section explains how to upgrade your paid plan organization to another plan.

To the Team plan

For a yearly paid plan organization, the current LOC threshold is used at no extra cost if you enable the Enterprise features: see Upgrading to the Enterprise plan above.

To upgrade a monthly paid plan to the Team plan

  1. Retrieve the organization.
  2. Select the Billing & Upgrade tab.
  3. In the Current plan section, select Upgrade plan
  4. Select the Lines of Code (LOC threshold) you want to purchase for the organization: see LOC-based pricing in Subscription plans.
  5. Select Save.
To the Enterprise plan

In case of a yearly paid plan, you can upgrade to the Enterprise plan with the same LOC threshold at no extra cost, as long as the yearly plan is valid. Otherwise, to upgrade your paid plan organization to the Enterprise plan, see Setting up your enterprise.

To upgrade a yearly paid plan to the Enterprise plan:

  1. Retrieve the organization.
  2. Select the Billing & Upgrade tab.
  3. In Try some Enterprise features at no extra cost, select Try features now.

Downgrading an organization

When you downgrade an organization, the downgrade will take effect on the next billing cycle.

From the paid or Team plan

You can downgrade your organization from the Team or paid plan to the free plan. However, if you downgrade, the private projects will be deleted.

To downgrade an organization from the Team or paid plan:

  1. Retrieve the organization.
  2. Select the Billing & Upgrade tab.
  3. Under the Current plan section, select the Downgrade button. The Downgrade dialog opens.
  4. Enter your organization name to confirm the downgrade and select Downgrade now. Your organization is now on the free plan.
From the Enterprise plan

To downgrade the whole enterprise:

  1. Downgrade the enterprise: see Downgrading your enterprise in Managing your enterprise. This ungroups all organizations attached to the enterprise. 
  2. To downgrade the ungrouped organizations to the Team plan, contact our team to purchase a Team plan coupon.

To downgrade an Enterprise plan organization to the Team plan:

  1. Retrieve the enterprise.
  2. In the Organizations tab, select the Remove from Enterprise button at the far right of the organization to be removed. 
  3. Contact our team to purchase a Team plan coupon for your organization.

Terminating a monthly subscription

A monthly Team or paid plan subscription is automatically renewed. To terminate it, you can delete the organization or downgrade it (see above) to the free plan (if you want to continue analyzing some public projects). Downgrading to the free plan deletes all private projects of the organization.

Changing the LOC threshold of your subscription

If you use a coupon as the payment method, contact our team. Otherwise, proceed as described below to change the LOC (number of lines) threshold of your subscription plan. Note that:

  • If you increase the LOC threshold, the change takes effect immediately and you will be charged on the next billing date with the pro-rated amount for the rest of the current billing period.
  • If you decrease the LOC threshold, the change will take effect on the next billing cycle.

To change the LOC threshold of your subscription:

Monthly subscription
  1. Retrieve your organization.
  2. Select the Billing & Upgrade tab.
  3. In the Current plan section, select the Edit plan button.
  4. In Choose your plan, select the LOC threshold you want.
  5. Select Save
